We are proud to showcase the very best local and regional produce in our delicious menus. We frequently feature local specialties such as Lakeland or Saltmarsh Lamb, Higginson’s Beef, Holker Venison, Cartmel Valley Game and Morecambe Bay Seafood. We offer something for every palette and are happy to accommodate guests with special dietary requirements.
We are open to non-residents, although booking is strongly recommended!

Our cellar is stocked with an extensive selection of fine wines and Champagnes from around the world. Many of these are sourced by our buyer from independent vineyards and carry a personal recommendation.
Our seasonal A La Carte Menu is served in our restaurant from 7:00 pm until 9.00 pm. Earlier dining is available by prior arrangement.
Formal or informal, the choice is yours. We serve lunches from 12.00 – 2.00 pm daily in in our restaurant. Booking is highly recommended.
On Mondays to Saturdays we offer a two course lunch for £14.95 per person and a three course lunch for £18.95 per person. Tea or coffee and mints are an optional extra at £2.95 per person.
On Sundays we serve a traditional Sunday roast priced at £16.95 per person for two courses or £21.95 per person for three courses. Coffee and mints is £2.95 per person when taken with the two course menu or complimentary if taken with the three course menu.
Our “Mini Hers n Sirs” children’s menu has been specially created to offer delicious homemade meals for our younger guests and can be served in our less formal bar and lounges. The menu includes firm favourites such as pasta, Netherwood mini crispy battered fish and tasty chicken goujons, sausages (including a vegetarian alternative) and burgers, all served with a choice of chips, mash, vegetables, beans or salad. Alternatively we also offer children’s portions of our restaurant or lounge menus.
If children’s meals are required before our evening meals are served, we are happy to oblige but do advise making arrangements with us in advance.
